The science of a

complete mind.

How can we reach true happiness and contentment? At MindOwl, our solution is to combine the best ideas from modern psychology and traditional Eastern mindfulness practice. We're dedicated to helping you understand and nurture your own mind using mindfulness and meditation. Try one of our online courses, and you can unlock greater happiness, awareness, resilience and focus in life.

The middle way

approach to meditation

We don't do dogma, and we don't do shallow self-help. At MindOwl, we recognise that the journey towards a complete mind means different things for different people. We pay tribute to Eastern spiritual traditions, but our practical guidance is also shaped by modern science's work on the human mind. This middle way approach allows anyone to learn about the amazing benefits of meditation and mindfulness.

Join a meditation community

Mindfulness is proven to help strengthen your relationships with others, and we take that goal seriously. Joining MindOwl means having access to an online community of like-minded individuals, via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and across our digital courses. Discussing your practice with others gives you access to insight, advice, and guidance on how to get the best out of meditation and mindfulness.

Find the right meditation

style for you

Meditation is deeply personal, so what works for others might not work for you - and what works for you can change each day! That's why we teach a range of techniques related to mindfulness, psychology and breathwork, and dedicate lots of attention to helping people find their meditation fit.

The problem with

meditation apps

It's impossible to achieve blissful happiness in 10 minutes, despite whatever quick fixes meditation apps seem to offer. While apps can be a good place to start meditating, we believe that in order to understand and adapt your own mind, you must learn why it behaves the way it does. This psychological framing guides much of our course content. After all, mindfulness shouldn't start and end when you pick up your phone - it's a versatile practice that can impact every aspect of your daily life.

A message from

our Founder

Hi there. I'm Filipe, the founder of MindOwl. When I was struggling with mental health issues in my 20s, studying and practising meditation allowed me to understand and let go of a number of beliefs that held me back in life. Meditation helped me overcome challenging situations and become a more genuine, happy and caring person. Now, I want to share that knowledge with you. With the support of an incredible team, and over 8 years of experience in psychology and meditation, I've developed MindOwl to help you achieve a more balanced, happy mind. Sign up to our subscription service today, and you'll receive access to all our mindfulness courses, our breathwork mini-course, live personalised sessions, and an exclusive community of like-minded people to share your journey with. Our greatest moments, memories, and experiences aren’t defined by their magnitude or greatness, but by the people who fill them and give them life. ✨

With rising temperatures, worrisome droughts, and looming environmental issues, it’s perfectly normal to feel sad, anxious, angry, and powerless. 😔

In times like this, mindfulness and self-awareness can be crucial in your ability to cope with fear. Here are 3 tips to help manage your climate anxiety:

🌍 Practice acceptance, not denial - accept you can't change the world on your own, only your tiny role within it
🌍 Try not to feel responsible for others - concentrate on your own journey.
🌍 Reduce your carbon footprint - take pride in lifestyle changes that you make.

The greatest challenges we experience are often also our greatest teachers.

If you’re repeatedly experiencing the same challenge, know that it is there not to push you down or hold you back, but to teach and strengthen you. 💪

Fear is often the thing that holds us back most from developing a deeper self-knowledge and awareness in our lives:

🌖 We fear being vulnerable.
🌗 We fear change.
🌘 We fear the truth.
🌑 We fear being wrong.

In moments that you feel fear creeping up on you, or notice it holding you back, take a moment to question your fear and ask yourself if your fear is truly serving you.
