Remember, you have to take care of your own health, and no one else is responsible for doing so. Unless you share the problems while you are going through this phase, people will never know, and eventually, you will end up doing things all by yourself!! A woman will need much support during this phase to get through it.

As a reader, you are someone who wants to know how to tackle things. In this section of the article, we will see the ways by which you can ask or get help to break the silence.

Your family and friends can be a great support during menopause. They can support you emotionally and help you manage your symptoms. It’s important to communicate with your loved ones about what you’re going through and how they can help.

Expert Assistance

Having professional assistance throughout menopause is also advantageous. Your doctor or other healthcare professional can offer tools and information to assist you in managing your symptoms and in making decisions about your health.

Menopause awareness is significantly aided by public policies. Governments can put rules in place that guarantee women have access to reliable information, healthcare, and support. The stigma associated with menopause can be reduced, and a more supportive atmosphere for women can be created through policies that require menopause education in workplaces and schools.

Community Involvement

Communities can provide a supportive environment for women going through menopause by creating safe spaces for them to share their experiences and concerns. Community organizations can also offer educational programs and support groups to help women manage their symptoms and improve their health.

Menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and an increased risk of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease are brought on by smoking. So, to keep your body healthy during menopause, affirm yourself to quit smoking.

If you are on vacation or at a party, there will be disturbances in your diet. With all the delicious food on offer, it’s hard to focus on your diet. In such cases, try to eat more vegetables and avoid eating fried foods. Even on normal days, plan your diet in advance and remember to add more proteins and vitamins to carbohydrates.

Prioritize your Schedule

Exercising regularly will help you gain proper weight. Making a habit of a 30-minute exercise routine daily will definitely improve your overall health. Besides improving your mental health, it will help you sleep properly and put you out of stress. A proper sleep schedule is important to wake up fresh on the coming day.

It is suggested by doctors that having 7 to 9 hours of sound sleep is necessary for everyone. Do not skip meals. Your mood swings should never affect on eating. Skipping meals will make it harder to maintain your weight and may make some menopause symptoms worse. Therefore, it’s imperative to eat regularly during menopause.

Management

One of the most implemented to feel less stressed is getting enough sleep. Create a calm and relaxing environment for yourself before going to sleep. Listen to soothing music, read a book, and keep all sorts of electronic devices away before going to bed. Different people prefer different activities to relax.

Women going through menopause can try yoga, meditation, and also get a massage as it reduces the tension in their muscles and makes them feel rejuvenated. Keeping all your thoughts to yourself during menopause isn’t healthy. This is why it’s imperative to discuss it with those around you, be it your friends, family members, and fellow buddies who are going through menopause.

With rising temperatures, worrisome droughts, and looming environmental issues, it’s perfectly normal to feel sad, anxious, angry, and powerless. 😔

In times like this, mindfulness and self-awareness can be crucial in your ability to cope with fear. Here are 3 tips to help manage your climate anxiety:

🌍 Practice acceptance, not denial - accept you can't change the world on your own, only your tiny role within it
🌍 Try not to feel responsible for others - concentrate on your own journey.
🌍 Reduce your carbon footprint - take pride in lifestyle changes that you make.

The greatest challenges we experience are often also our greatest teachers.

If you’re repeatedly experiencing the same challenge, know that it is there not to push you down or hold you back, but to teach and strengthen you. 💪

Fear is often the thing that holds us back most from developing a deeper self-knowledge and awareness in our lives:

🌖 We fear being vulnerable.
🌗 We fear change.
🌘 We fear the truth.
🌑 We fear being wrong.

In moments that you feel fear creeping up on you, or notice it holding you back, take a moment to question your fear and ask yourself if your fear is truly serving you.
